terms of service

by using nudge you agree to these terms. if you don't agree, please don't use it.

nudge is one tap to say you're thinking of someone — a lightweight keep-in-touch app. it sends a friend a notification, with no message to write and no feed to scroll. it is a small app built by the ogbuilds studio.

you must be at least 13 to use nudge. an account is just a display name and an invite code — there is no email or password. you're responsible for the device and session that hold your account, and for who you choose to share your invite code with.

you agree not to use nudge to:

• break the law or harass, spam, or harm another person;
• send unwanted, repeated, or abusive nudges to someone who doesn't want them;
• scrape, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service, or try to access accounts or data that aren't yours;
• impersonate someone else or infringe anyone's rights.

nudge is meant for staying in touch with people you know. be kind.

you keep ownership of the things you provide (your chosen name and your connections). you grant us the licence needed to operate the service — to store that data and deliver your nudges. ogbuilds owns the nudge software, name, and brand.

notifications are delivered through your browser's push provider and, on mobile, the expo push service. those services have their own terms, and we're not responsible for them or for delivery delays or failures on their side.

nudge is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. it is a small, free app — we can't guarantee that a nudge will always be delivered, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will be error-free. don't rely on it for anything urgent or important.

to the fullest extent permitted by law, ogbuilds will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of nudge. as nudge is free, our total liability to you is limited to £100. nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

you can stop using nudge at any time and ask us to delete your account. we may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or misuse the service.

these terms are governed by the laws of england & wales, and the courts of england & wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

we may update these terms from time to time. we'll update the date above, and continued use of nudge means you accept the changes.
